Girls For a Change Summit and After School Program

The 12th annual Girls for a Change Summit is on February 10th at Montana State University! Hundreds of 8th-12th grade girls gather for this day-long event devoted to encouraging girls to step out of their comfort zones and experience a day of incredible fun. Girls that attend make new friends, try things they’ve never done, and explore new possibilities for their future.

2018 Summit participants will choose from 35+ exciting workshops to attend including things like aerial dance, coding, cooking, film-making and more! Girls also attend a keynote breakfast and lunch presented by inspiring female role models.

Cost is $25 to register and scholarships are available.

Girls for a Change After School Program

Girls for a Change (GFAC) is an after-school program for Gallatin Valley girls in grades 9-12. Throughout each semester girls learn more about themselves as leaders, how to be courageous, and how to make real change in their own lives and in the world. This program is for any girl interested in having fun and being awesome--you do not have to have any prior experience, you just need to be excited and open-minded!

Girls meet every Tuesday from 3:30-5: 00 pm at Bozeman High School from February 6th-May 22nd, and occasionally attend events on the weekends and evenings including the kick-off event on February 3th, and the GFAC Summit on February 10th, 2018.

This program is free of cost!

Girls can apply online and parents can fill out the online parent permission form. (Paper applications available upon request and in the BHS main office). Applications due January 26th.  For questions please contact Greta at or (406) 922-4241
