Wild Skills Day Camp

The She Jumps organization is offering a day camp for local female youth from the ages of 7 to 14. Scholarships are available, following is a description of the event!

Join us for a Wild Skills Adventure at Ennis Lions Club Park on Sunday, September 16! SheJumps Wild Skills Basics Day Camps are structured as day long camp experiences where the parents/guardians drop girls off, split into teams based on age and rotate through different classes. Throughout the day, girls are introduced to a range of outdoor skills which include leave no trace, aquatic ecology, navigation, and more. In addition, girls will get to experience fly fishing thanks to the generosity of our event partner, Trout Stalkers.

We strive to engage all generations in the sharing of knowledge and understanding. Connecting experience, energy and love for our natural places with the technical and survival skills girls need to get out and adventure. This event is powered by local volunteer efforts, if you'd like to contribute your time & talent or a in-kind gift please sign up here.
