Sara Schwerin moved to Bozeman with her husband and two children in June 2015. Prior to that, Sara lived in New York City and worked in the banking industry for approximately 20 years, principally in Mergers & Acquisitions at Citi. Over the course of her career, she has advised corporate clients and boards on transactions with an aggregate deal value in excess of $120 billion in a variety of industries. Sara currently serves as the President of the Board of Big Sky Youth Empowerment, President of the Board of Congregation Beth Shalom, and Vice President of the National Advisory Board of Montana State University’s Leadership Institute.
She enjoys flying in the mountains (instrument-rated private pilot), trail running, hiking, skiing, scuba diving and painting. Sara holds a BA in Economics from Dickinson College and an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
