Shanon Engel was born and raised in Bozeman, MT. She's lived in many places across the country and overseas, finally settling back in Bozeman, her true home, four years ago with her husband and two small children. 

Shanon graduated from Gonzaga University with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and minor in English. She's worked for a number of non profits and received a Master's in Counseling Psychology from the Adler School of Professional Psychology in Chicago, IL in 2010. After graduation her husband's work moved them to Phoenix, AZ where she practiced as a therapist specializing in the treatment of trauma related disorders, substance abuse disorders, and Borderline Personality Disorder.

Currently she serves on the board of Big Sky Youth Empowerment and is actively involved with Eagle Mount and Big Sky Bravery. She also works with Barnard Construction to help facilitate donation requests the company receives. 

Shanon loves spending time with her family, skiing, hiking, running, and being outside in Bozeman's beautiful summers.
