Hello Parents

Participation in BYEP is completely voluntary and on the youth's own initiative as we want BYEP to be a constructive space. After acceptance into the program, participants are grouped together with a small number of peers (6-8), volunteer mentors, and a Program Manager. The group spends one day of the weekend on an adventure and one afternoon in workshop developing interpersonal and life skills, and learning how to build healthy relationships.

We provide these opportunities for growth at no charge as your student is awarded a scholarship to BYEP. What does this mean for you? Participation in BYEP is FREE! The scholarship includes transportation to and from adventures and workshops, lunches and snacks, and gear and fees for adventure. The best part? If your student has perfect attendance, they keep the gear. We hope that given the tools, they will get outside and have grown a bit on the inside too.

For a little more information on who we are, what we do, and what you can expect while your child is in BYEP, please check out the Parent Guide linked below. We want you to feel as good as your teenager does about joining BYEP. As always, if you ever have any questions, concerns, or comments, contact Kayla Bradley, our Program Director at (406) 581-7212 or kayla[at]byep.org.

BYEP is a community, a family, a team.
