BYEP Opportunity Scholarship

Our dream at BYEP is that talented young people have the opportunity to make their dreams come true. We believe that further education beyond high school is an important ingredient in gaining the skills and experience to pursue those dreams. Knowing that finances can be a barrier to access these opportunities, we created the Opportunity Scholarship for BYEP teen participants.

  • The BYEP Opportunity Scholarship is a one time award of $3,000 awarded to BYEP participants, that the participant can use for tuition costs, books, and materials or equipment needed for their continuing education.  

  • Any 12th grade Crux participant in their final year is eligible to apply! Note that participants must:

    1. Be actively involved in BYEP and are in good standing with program attendance and the “4 Agreements”.

    2. Show that they are applying to university, community college, trade school, tech school, or some other form of continuing education following graduation from high school.

    3. Fill out the BYEP Opportunity Scholarship Application by the end of March*.

    *Participants may apply earlier in the year for the BYEP Opportunity Scholarship if funding is needed for college application fees. The amount used for application fees will be deducted from the final amount awarded.
