Memorial Gifts

BYEP consists of an incredible group of dedicated and caring individuals — from teens who participate in our programs to volunteer mentors, as well as those who inspire us, support us, and spread the word about our work. We are all joined in our mission to empower vulnerable teens through group mentorship and connection with the natural world.

We are grateful to receive donations from family members and friends who give to BYEP in memory of their loved ones who have passed. Through a gift to BYEP, they honor their loved one’s life with a lasting legacy, providing teens with life-changing access to a supportive community and empowering outdoor adventures.

We are honored to dedicate this page to people in whose memory BYEP's work continues to thrive.

Paul David Williams

3/23/1961 - 10/30/2020

In loving memory of Paul, and his love for outdoor adventure and mentoring which inspires those who knew him to continue to "Live Like Paul".

From an early age, Paul Williams fell in love with backpacking, climbing, and skiing. From hucking cliffs on skinny ‘70s skis to scrambling up cliffs with minimal gear, he enjoyed exploring the many treasures of the Rocky Mountains with his father and brother.

As a father and husband, Paul shared these passions with his family - creating fun and imaginative ways for his kids to enjoy the outdoors. Our fondest memories of Paul were shared with a smile, a joke, and either a blue sky or a tempest storm above.

We hope that his legacy will continue to live on, in our families and in the BYEP family, for future generations to experience and find strength and solace in the beauty of our wild Montana.
